2. OBTAINING DOCUMENTS                                                      

Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates can be obtained at a cost of £15 per document, which includes our research fee and the cost of the document itself. If you require more than one copy of the same document the second and subsequent copies are charged at £12.25 each. In the unlikely event that we are unable to obtain a particular certificate a refund of £9.25 would be made.

Wills - if probate has been granted we can obtain a copy of a will. Our charge for this service is £30.00 if you are able to supply all the details that we require, including the exact date of death. If we have to obtain a death certificate in order to establish those details the total charge will be £39.25. If our reseach reveals that probate has not been granted it will not be possible to obtain a will, even if one was made. In such an event a refund of £10 will be made.

3. MISSING HEIRS

We can locate missing heirs, whether or not a will is available. This is a service which would normally be performed for a Solicitor but if you think that we can be of assistance please do not hesitate to ask.
